    • Shirley proposed using this as a deadline for developing a mobile control interface for the glass brick LED installation that will be available for use by the public.
    • This would allow for use during the event.
  • Woodlawn Street Market, April, July & October.

New

all for board nominations for chair, vice-chair & one member-at-large.
  • Reminder - current chair - Trae Watson, current vice-chair - Shawn Pearson.
  • Mykel Alvis (current member-at-large) declined to be nominated for the position for 2015. Other obligations mean that he can't give the time required.
Problems using wiki & blogs - Celeste
  • Need to educate members regarding use of wiki, make it possible for membership to post to blog.
  • Shirley checked blog/website settings. A plug-in was not quite working correctly and was preventing easy user registration.
  • Plugin has been deactivated, and registration opened up.
  • If you haven't registered to use the website, and would like to post to the blog, please do so!
  • Training on how to use the wiki will also be scheduled.

Old

Woodlawn Business Association (WBA) meeting report
  • Celeste and Shirley attended January Woodlawn Business Association meeting as RMM representatives.
  • WBA has been around since sixties.
  • Fell into low levels of activity, active focus on reviving group over past three years.
  • Current budget for neighborhood events, improvements, promotion - approx. $2500.
  • Focus on recruitment by lead members, outreach to neighborhood churches and other nonprofits as well as to local businesses.
  • Time to go visit other businesses in the area.
  • Mrs. Pettaway from the Woodlawn Neighborhood Association passed along contact information for other neighborhood associations.
  • This is important for RMM community outreach.
  • WBA is actively planning to raise the business area's profile.
