Stuff that needs to be done when a new treasurer comes in

Bank account

  • Person being given signing authority to go to bank with two other board members with signing authority, remove former person releasing signing authority, and add the new person.
    • Required documentation:
      • Letter from one of the executive to the bank documenting the change
      • Copy of the minutes from the meeting in which the new treasurer was voted in.
      • New treasurer (or other person being given check signing authority) needs to bring photo ID, SSN certificate (need the number) and proof of address.
  • Our accounts are held at Regions Bank, 941 20th Street S.


Upload or fax 4 documents to confirm your business contact's legal name and info. This info will be kept secure.

  • Photo ID - You can use your driver's license, passport, or any other government issued photo ID.
  • One of the following documents:
    • Utility bill that shows the address on your PayPal account.
    • Bank statement for a bank account linked to your PayPal account.
    • Credit card statement for a card linked to your PayPal account.
  • Document on your business letterhead - Include the primary email address, current name, address, and phone number on the PayPal account. Provide the new business contact name and the reason for the change. (minutes of the meeting where the change was made are good documentation).
  • New business contact's SSN - Provide a copy of the Social Security card or a pay stub that shows the SSN.
